MONO is an advertising and branding agency. We believe in the power of simplicity. We are better than anyone at distilling the core truths of a brand and turning those insights into meaningful and differentiating ideas that move businesses. We often talk about eliminating the unnecessary so that the necessary can be heard. We aim to create legendary work that works for our clients and provide a working environment that is optimistic, collaborative, and team-based.
MONO is looking for a determined and optimistic Project Manager Intern to join our best-in-class Operations team for 3 months (with the ultimate goal of converting to a full-time role). Our internship is all about real client work experience. So plan to dive right in working on an assigned account(s). As a Project Manager, you will gain a foundational understanding of how to architect and drive the plan that fuels great collaboration and work, while being nimble to the constant influx of change. A Project Manager is a key member of the Operations team working alongside an Operations Director and Account Supervisor.
Project Managers are responsible for architecting the team’s process and approach so teams can do their best work at every stage of the process; helping teams consistently deliver on time, on budget and to the best of our abilities; proactively tracking and managing the hours and scopes of our accounts; and helping integrated teams stay connected, focused, and informed on priorities and changes to our work. In this position, you will not only learn processes but how to motivate teams and build outstanding communication skills.
The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, a problem-solver and a master communicator. Confidence, and the aptitude for being in a client-facing role is also essential. To qualify, you have a Bachelor’s degree, can demonstrate experience in a leadership role, and are excited to learn and contribute to our collaborative and fast-paced environment. Agency experience is not required but a plus.
This is a locally-based role, where relocation will be required for candidates living outside of the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. We currently observe a hybrid work model. We work onsite every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday for Work From MONO (WFM) days, in addition to moments that matter outside of those designated days, with the purpose of fostering agency connection and aiding collaboration.
MONO is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, and other protected status as required by law.
